BSD City, 7 April 2026 – Indonesia is a rapidly growing market for fertility services and assisted pregnancy programs in Southeast Asia. Based on data from the Indonesian Association of In Vitro Fertilization (PERFITRI), the total number of IVF (In Vitro Fertilization) cycles in the country in 2021 reached more than 10,000 patients. In the same year, around 8,000 Indonesian patients underwent IVF programs abroad. Seeing this potential and opportunity, Alpha IVF Group is establishing an integrated global-standard fertility center in the Biomedical Campus area of D-HUB SEZ, BSD City.
Alpha IVF Group, together with its fertility center network in Malaysia and Singapore, has more than 30 years of experience in the fertility field, supported by leading specialist doctors and embryologists with regional and international standards. Alpha IVF Group has allocated a clinic and laboratory facility covering approximately 612 square meters with an investment value of Rp47 billion in D-HUB SEZ, BSD City. This facility is planned to begin operations in October 2026.
Group Managing Director of Alpha IVF Group Berhad Dr Colin Lee Soon Soo stated, “Alpha IVF Group’s expansion into BSD City is a strategic move to reach a broader market. BSD City’s location near Jakarta is considered to have very high demand potential for fertility services. This center will be equipped with advanced assisted reproductive technologies, including cryotec vitrification, time-lapse embryoscope, preimplantation genetic testing, as well as the use of artificial intelligence (AI) to improve embryo selection accuracy. In addition, collaboration between senior IVF specialists from Malaysia and Singapore with Indonesian fertility doctors will bring international-class IVF success standards to D-HUB SEZ BSD City”.
The development of this fertility facility within the Special Economic Zone provides various advantages for Alpha IVF Group’s global-standard integrated fertility center in BSD City, such as fiscal incentives, regulatory ease, access to advanced medical technology, and opportunities to bring in international medical personnel.
BSD City Medical Hub Becomes More Complete with Alpha IVF
Chief of Operations of D-HUB SEZ Lindawaty Chandra said “D-HUB SEZ, also known as the Banten International Education, Technology and Health Special Economic Zone, was designed as a strategic platform to bring global healthcare institutions to Indonesia with the support of incentives and an integrated ecosystem. The presence of Alpha IVF Group further enriches biomedical services in this area and strengthens BSD City’s position as an international-standard medical hub destination. We are optimistic that this facility will not only serve domestic community needs, but also attract patients from the regional area. By presenting advanced reproductive technology, collaboration with international doctors, and the support of a special economic zone ecosystem that provides regulatory ease and incentives, this facility is expected to reduce the number of patients seeking treatment abroad while improving public access to quality, efficient, and globally competitive fertility services.”
Located in D-HUB SEZ, Alpha IVF Group BSD City is connected to modern commercial centers such as The Breeze, Green Office Park, BSD CBD, AEON Mall BSD City, QBig, and ICE BSD. In addition, the area has excellent connectivity with Jakarta and easy access to Soekarno-Hatta International Airport.
