The Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia Budi Gunadi Sadikin stated, “The Ministry of Health has three main focuses for the next five years. First, to provide healthcare services that are accessible, high quality, and affordable. Second, we want to ensure that our health system resilience is solid. Third, the health sector must contribute to Gross Domestic Product (GDP) growth and job creation. On the other hand, the health sector also has great potential to contribute to economic growth and employment creation. Therefore, the role of the private sector is very important in driving the future development of this sector. We welcome the cooperation between Banten IETH SEZ and Bundamedik as a concrete step to reduce the need for people to seek treatment abroad, while also strengthening healthcare services in Indonesia.”

Head of Banten IETH SEZ BUPP Lindawaty Chandra said, “The presence of Bundamedik will strengthen the investment attractiveness of the area and accelerate the establishment of an integrated healthcare ecosystem in Banten IETH SEZ, also known as D-HUB SEZ. In the future, together with PT Sinar Medika Langgeng and Bundamedik, we will collaborate in developing and managing an international-class hospital, building research and innovation centers for digital healthcare services, including telemedicine, clinical training, and medical workforce development. This will not only increase the area’s valuation, but also create a multiplier economic effect through the integration of the healthcare sector with residential, retail, and hospitality sectors.”

Bundamedik is a pioneer in robotic surgery services with more than 13 years of experience and has handled more than 800 cases. We are also the only one in Indonesia, and even Southeast Asia, to successfully perform a skin-sparing mastectomy procedure using robotic technology, and we possess complete capabilities for kidney transplant services.
